We have an immediate opening in our Employee Benefits practice group in our Milwaukee office.  We seek an entry-level professional to work as a full time Employee Benefits Paralegal who is eager to learn new skills while supporting a team of attorneys and other professionals.
 
You will join a well- established Employee Benefits Practice with over 40 attorneys and paralegals.  Reinhart’s Employee Benefits group has the resources to advise clients across three major areas of benefits law: Corporate Benefits, Public Plans (Government) and Taft-Hartley. National in scope representing clients in more than 40 states, our Employee Benefits attorneys have an average of 20 years of benefits experience, and they bring that knowledge to bear for our clients every day, interpreting challenging language and distilling complex rules and regulations.
 
As part of our Employee Benefits team, some of the essential duties and responsibilities will include: 

  • Organizing and preparing materials in advance of quarterly client meetings;
  • Amending and restating retirement and health and welfare plans;
  • Interpreting benefit plan documents;
  • Drafting summary plan descriptions, participant notices, administrative forms and other plan related documents;
  • Preparing government agency filings. 
Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, and excellent computer and internet skills are required. Candidates must be comfortable working independently and in a team atmosphere.
 
Qualified candidates must possess:

  • extraordinary attention to detail with  a strong commitment to efficiency and accuracy
  • the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines 
This position also requires critical thinking, problem-solving ability and the willingness to ask questions and to follow up as needed. 
 
At a minimum, you must have a bachelor's degree.  This position does not require prior paralegal and/or employee benefits experience, but you must be a quick learner with an active interest in acquiring and applying new skills.  The successful candidate will also be committed to and enthusiastic about using strong client service strategies.

We have an immediate opening in our Milwaukee office for a Legal Administrative Assistant in our Litigation Department.  We seek an energetic professional to support the attorneys and paralegals in meeting the needs and demands of the firm's Litigation clients.
 
You will join a supportive, hard-working team of legal professionals who are dedicated to providing creative yet practical solutions to our clients' needs. You will work closely with 4 to 5 timekeepers in an environment that has an outstanding reputation for innovation and excellent client service.
 
As part of our Litigation team, some of the essential duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Type from rough draft, handwritten materials and/or dictation into proper format.
  • Compose basic or routine letters/transmittal e-mails.
  • Enter timekeepers' time entries.
  • Proofread for spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Schedule and calendar appointments, meetings, depositions, etc.; make travel arrangements and complete expense reports.
  • Obtain/maintain contact information.
  • Serve as back-up to other assistants.
