The Internet is a necessity. We rely on websites and online resources, as well as various applications on a daily basis. Accessing material online is an integral part of our day. Why is it then, that something we use daily can still provide frustration? How can we be productive when the Internet produces irrelevant results, an outrageous amount of hits, or questionable content?
This presentation will offer attendees a variety of tips and tricks to improve their online search experience. Attendees will learn specific techniques to produce relevant results when conducting an online search. Let Google work for you!! Participants will also learn the advantages of using "advanced search" options, the differences in search engines, and how to construct precise queries.
