Data Security in A Modern World: How to Protect Your Company

Law firms have stringent requirements when it comes to client confidentiality and data security. Yet, it is becoming increasingly difficult to discern how to meet those requirements. Come and learn about the latest trends and expectations in the industry from Paul Hager, CEO and Senior Engineer at Information Technology Professionals (ITP). Paul will present real-world case studies of how law firms are successfully meeting these challenges and how you can be confident with your network security and compliance. You will learn about the standards being applied to law firms today and also the trends that suggest how those standards will change in the future. Whether it's increased pressure from compliance standards like PCI or a need to satisfy insurance requirements, you will take away the knowledge you need to handle any of your compliance concerns. Paul will also provide examples of policies and practices for quality IT security today. We look forward to another informative and practical session.

Paul M. Hager is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison and holds a PMP from the University of Villanova. Paul was the IT Manager and Billing Coordinator of a Madison law firm for over six years. He has personally been the inventor and founder of three startup companies creating advanced software for the legal and security industries. Paul was recently voted one of the Madison area's top 40 young executives under 40, and is listed in the Business Executive Directory. Paul often speaks on the subjects of technology and online marketing for lawyers at colleges and organizations around the U.S. ITP is a local IT company supporting over 50 law firms in the Milwaukee and Madison areas.

This luncheon is sponsored by WALA Business Partner, Associated Private Client Services, and is FREE for members to attend. It is $25 for guests.
