Topic: How to Increase Firm Revenue (without paying for it!)
Leader: Tracey Reams
Speaker: Spencer Smith, Spencer X. Smith Consulting, http://www.spencerXsmith.com
Do you ever research things online before you buy them? You (and your firm's potential clients) are much, much more educated than ever before about what products and services to buy. Are you using this opportunity to teach potential clients with your website? Spence will share how to drive more traffic to your firm's site by turning it into a learning center. This traffic will result in more clients for your firm, and Spence will show how - using data not available in traditional marketing - to measure the results of these efforts.
Spencer Smith is the founder of Spencer X. Smith Consulting, and principal of the Cobalt Companies, a real estate investment firm he started in 2000. Since college, he's had the privilege of working with companies such as IBM, Kohl's Corp, Kimberly-Clark, Oshkosh Truck, The Hartford, and Nationwide.
Spence founded Xavier Technologies in 2002, and while running that company, played drums in and managed a rock band. The band, Myopic Son, released three albums, toured extensively for six years, and had the opportunity to play many awesome venues, including Milwaukee's Summerfest, a dream for Spence since he grew up watching bands perform there. Xavier Technologies was sold in 2006 to an accounting firm looking to add IT consulting to their list of services.
Spence lives in Waunakee, WI with his wife Erica, son Dominic, and daughter Samantha. He enjoys traveling & spending time with his family, teaching, working out, reading, writing, and (occasionally) playing drums.
